Interoffice (IOF) Transport provides transmission between central offices located in the same LATA.

Product Details
Unbundled Interoffice Transport from Brightspeed provides transmission between central offices located in the same LATA. There are two types of transport: shared and dedicated.
Shared Interoffice Transport transport carries transmission from several different carriers, including Brightspeed.
Dedicated Interoffice Transport gives you exclusive use of the interoffice facility. It includes:
- DS1 service: Unbundled dedicated DS1 transport consists of a two-point digital channel, which provides for simultaneous two-way transmission of serial bipolar return-to-zero isochronous digital electrical signals at a transmission rate of 1.544 megabits per second (MBPS).
- DS3 service: Unbundled dedicated DS3 transport consists of a two-point digital channel, which provides for simultaneous two-way transmission of serial, bipolar, return-to-zero isochronous digital electrical signals at a transmission rate of 44.736 megabits per second (MBPS).
- Access to unbundled dedicated DS1 transport is from your central office or from your collocation arrangement with Brightspeed via an appropriate cross-connection made on the Digital Signal Cross-connect (DSX).
