The Brightspeed Installation Guarantee is made up of three promises: Calendar Commitment, Verified Setup and Signature Walkthrough, each of which applies to residential fiber service tech installs only and excludes self-installations. Installation is considered complete when the service is active. The Brightspeed Installation Guarantee is waived where installation is affected by customer availability, access restrictions, and other factors outside Brightspeed’s control.
With Brightspeed’s Calendar Commitment, Brightspeed promises to install the service on the scheduled installation day and will not reschedule installations on the planned installation date. Calendar Commitment waived where installation affected by customer availability/rescheduling, premises access, power, wiring, environmental conditions, emergencies or third-party equipment. Brightspeed's failure to meet the Calendar Commitment qualifies customers for a one-time $20 credit on their first invoice; excludes taxes, fees, add-ons, and non-recurring charges. Credit has no cash value, is non-transferable.
With Brightspeed’s Signature Walkthrough, customers can expect Brightspeed to walk them through their setup and how to use Brightspeed-provided equipment. Excludes advanced configuration, smart home integration, third-party device setup. If Brightspeed does not perform the Signature Walkthrough, customer will qualify for priority support for 30 days from the date of installation.
With Brightspeed’s Verified Setup, customers can expect Brightspeed to set up and test Brightspeed-provided equipment and WiFi making sure it’s working before we leave. Verified Setup verifies service operation at installation only. Excludes WiFi speed, coverage, or performance variations due to home layout, interference, device capability, or third-party equipment. If Brightspeed does not perform the Verified Setup, customer will qualify for priority support for 30 days from the date of installation.
