Company’s Consumer Group president recognized among Chicago’s Top 100 CEOs and C-level executives

CHARLOTTE, N.C. November 20, 2024 – Brightspeed, one of the nation’s largest fiber broadband builders, announced that its Consumer Group President Courtland Madock is a recipient of the 2025 Chicago Titan 100 honoring Chicago’s most accomplished business leaders in their industry for demonstrating exceptional leadership, vision and passion. Courtland was among the company’s earliest employees helping launch the Brightspeed brand across its 20-state footprint as a different kind of internet service provider focused on bridging the digital divide and transforming the customer experience.

“Courtland is a strong believer in creating an open environment where her team is encouraged to challenge one another with the goal of collectively achieving success” said Brightspeed CEO Tom Maguire. “Under her leadership, the team launched a new brand and a unique brand character to help drive awareness of our name, services and what made us different – generating nearly 40% sales growth quarter over quarter. I’m proud to see her recognized as a 2025 Chicago Titan 100.”

“Chicago’s Titan 100 are redefining business with vision and purpose, setting new standards for growth, innovation, and impact. These trailblazing leaders inspire transformation across industries, uplift communities, and drive meaningful change. We proudly celebrate their legacy of excellence and unwavering commitment to shaping a brighter future for all,” says Jaime Zawmon, President of Titan CEO.

Courtland Madock will be honored at the Titan 100 awards on February 20, 2025, at the Aon Grand Ballroom at Navy Pier. This unique cocktail-style awards event will gather 100 Titans of Industry and their guests for an evening unlike anything that exists in the Chicago business community.

“On behalf of the partners and associates at Wipfli, the headline sponsor of the 2025 Chicago Titan 100, we congratulate the 2025 Chicago Titan 100 honorees. We appreciate the lasting impact each leader has made, and continues to make, in building organizations of significance both in Chicago and abroad. Your ingenuity and creativity have set you apart, and the honor of being seen as an industry Titan is richly deserved,” says Gary Shutan, Partner at Wipfli.
