Award Received as a Result of an Employee Survey Conducted by Third Party

Charlotte, N.C. October 1, 2024 – Brightspeed, one of the nation’s largest fiber broadband builders focused on empowering more homes and businesses with ultrafast, reliable internet and headquartered in Charlotte, has been awarded Charlotte Magazine’s Top Workplaces 2024 honor.

“At Brightspeed, we want our employees to feel valued and inspired to take an active role in the success of our company,” said Brightspeed Chief Human Resources Officer, Colon McLean. “This honor, a result of our own employees sharing their experience at Brightspeed, highlights our commitment to hiring the best talent and then involving them to grow and shape our new company.”

This list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage LLC. The confidential survey uniquely measures the employee experience and its component themes, including that employees feel Respected & Supported, Enabled to Grow, and Empowered to Execute, to name a few.

“Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees,” said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. “That's something to be proud of. In today's market, leaders must ensure they’re allowing employees to have a voice and be heard. That's paramount. Top Workplaces do this, and it pays dividends.”
