Kristy Harrison

Executive Vice President, Operations

Kristy Harrison is the executive vice president of operations responsible for ensuring Brightspeed’s operations team leverages state-of-the-art technology to deliver on the company’s promise to provide best-in-class customer service and a faster, more reliable network across the company’s 20-state footprint.

Kristy brings more than three decades of telecommunications industry experience to her role at Brightspeed. She began her career in telecom at Lumen Technologies (previously CenturyLink and Embarq) after transitioning from her service in the U.S. Air Force to civilian life. While at Lumen, she grew her career into various leadership roles from managing special service operations including call centers where she overhauled the communication structure yielding improved employee engagement scores and morale to senior director in engineering and construction where she managed more than 100 project managers responsible for up to 10,000 fiber orders per month. During her tenure at Lumen, she reduced service delivery times by 66%, increased customer satisfaction scores and implemented process improvements to better engage employees.

When she joined Brightspeed she helped support business operations leading cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, drive cost savings, implement automation and drive the development of operational dashboards to add transparency and accountability for key KPIs. Most recently, Kristy served as vice president of sales operations, enablement and fulfillment for Brightspeed where she led the end-to-end sales performance infrastructure across all consumer sales channels, ensuring operational excellence from lead generation through fulfillment.

Kristy earned her Bachelor or Arts in Business Administration and her Master of Business Administration from Ottawa University in Overland Park, Kansas. She went on to earn a certificate in Project Management from George Washington University and an executive certificate in AI: Implications for Business Strategy from MIT, Sloan School of Management. She is a member of the Gardner (Kansas) Rotary Club, a member of the American Legion and an active volunteer with the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Kansas City. 

Marge Jackson

President and Chief Marketing Officer, Consumer Fiber

Marge Jackson brings more than 25 years of telecom experience to her role as President and Chief Marketing Officer, Consumer Fiber, with end-to-end P&L accountability for growth, marketing, sales, digital, customer experience, retention, product strategy and revenue performance. She is charged with driving revenue growth, deepening customer relationships and unlocking new market opportunities through innovative products, bold marketing, differentiated brand positioning and exceptional customer care. Marge is focused on building scalable growth engines and positioning Brightspeed as the broadband provider of choice in every community it serves.

Previously, Marge helped transform Brightspeed’s Consumer business and built a foundation for profitable growth in her role as EVP, Consumer Growth, Sales & Customer Care. 

Prior to joining Brightspeed, Marge grew her career in various roles at Comcast. Her most recent position was senior vice president of sales, where she supported a team of 15,000 sales employees. She drove sales growth and revenue by enabling collaboration and partnership with the company’s divisions and care teams. During her tenure at Comcast, she helped make history by launching the Black Experience on Xfinity Channel, a first-of-its-kind, curated destination of Black content, Black entertainment, movies, TV shows, news and more. In addition, Marge led the Multicultural Community Engagement team, which partnered across Comcast NBCUniversal to drive impact in underserved communities.

Marge has been recognized as an industry leader and top woman/minority in business. She was selected for the National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communication’s (NAMIC) Executive Leadership Development Program and as one of CableFax’s “Most Powerful Women in Cable.”

Marge is a graduate of Peirce College. She is an active member of CTAM, an executive advisor on the WICT Board Philly Chapter, a graduate of WICT’s prestigious Betsy Magness Leadership Institute and of the Comcast Woman Leadership program at Wharton University. She most recently completed the CTAM Executive Program at Harvard University.

Jeff Lowney

President, Telecom Solutions Group 

Jeff Lowney has been part of Brightspeed’s journey since its earliest stages, joining during the company’s pre-launch formation and playing an integral role in helping shape and build the organization ahead of its official inception.  As President of the Telecom Solutions Group, Jeff manages and owns the P&L for over $1 billion in annual revenue with leadership responsibility for our Consumer Copper Operations, Small Business, Mid-Market, Public Sector and Wholesale Segments. 

Previously, Jeff was the EVP responsible for our Enterprise & Wholesale operations. In his current role, Jeff manages one of the company’s most diverse customer portfolios from long-tenure residential customers to strategic relationships with the nation’s largest wireless providers. Jeff is focused on profitability by evolving the company’s operations, simplifying how Brightspeed operates, modernizing the customer experience, accelerating the transition to fiber and next-generation solutions and ensuring the business is positioned to compete as customer needs and the telecommunications landscape continue to evolve.  

Jeff joined Brightspeed with an enviable record of transforming underperforming telecommunications markets. His more than 20-year career includes leadership roles with Sprint, AT&T, TW Telecom/Level 3 (now Lumen Technologies), Earthlink and Windstream. Prior to Brightspeed, Jeff led the execution of a $2 billion fiber network investment and successful emergence from bankruptcy as the President of Windstream’s Kinetic division.

Jeff earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point and his Master of Business Administration from Cardinal Stritch University. He also attended the University of Denver, Daniels College of Business Executive Education Program. 

Jeff is an active member of the Special Olympics and supports other local nonprofit organizations. 

Colon McLean

Chief People and Administrative Officer

Colon McLean serves as Chief People and Administrative Officer for Brightspeed, responsible for the oversight of the HR, Legal, Information Security and Communications teams. In his role, he is responsible for building and leading all people-related programs and sustaining the company’s customer-focused values while maintaining a culture of integrity, ethics and compliance. Known for leading executive teams through complex, global business and people transactions, Colon brings decades of experience from large-scale public and private equity backed companies to his role at Brightspeed.

Colon and his team ensure that the Brightspeed work environment is inclusive and diverse and that the team is aligned around the company’s growth plans to meet the broadband needs of millions of families and businesses across 20 states.

Prior to joining Brightspeed, Colon led human resources for Alight Solutions, a Blackstone portfolio company, where he was responsible for all people-related programs and led HR due diligence, integration and value realization of four acquisitions. Additionally, Colon championed the company's purpose and values, driving high levels of engagement, resulting in certification as a Great Place to Work in 2018, 2019 and 2020. Prior to Alight Solutions, he served as Chief Human Resources Officer at two other companies following a two-decade career at Duke Energy where he became co-head of human resources.

Colon earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Wingate University and his Master of Business Administration from Wake Forest University.

Colon was an active member of the HR Management Association of Chicago, serving as a member and board chair.

Wyre Marshall

General Counsel

Wyre Marshall has had a nearly 30-year legal career, spending more than 20 years within the telecommunications industry. As Brightspeed’s general counsel, Wyre’s top priorities are to align legal strategy with business objectives, support high-stakes decision-making and modernize the legal function to enable enterprise transformation.

In his role, he leads the company’s legal, governance, regulatory and government affairs functions, overseeing teams responsible for corporate and complex transactions, litigation, labor and employment, real estate, network, regulatory, privacy, procurement, commercial transactions, intellectual property, risk, compliance, government affairs and public policy. He also advises the company’s Board of Directors, CEO and other members of the Executive Leadership Team on legal, regulatory and strategic business matters. 

Prior to becoming general counsel, Wyre served as vice president and deputy general counsel for centralized services at Brightspeed — advising leaders across finance, procurement, information technology, network and real estate.

Before joining Brightspeed, Wyre built his legal and telecommunications career through a series of senior legal and business roles at Lumen Technologies, CenturyLink and Qwest. His experience spans corporate transactions, entity management, strategic finance initiatives, mergers and acquisitions and enterprise commercial and strategic partnership agreements.

Wyre began his career practicing corporate and securities law with Akin Gump Strauss Hauer and Feld LLP.  He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies (Business) and Spanish from Virginia Tech and his Juris Doctor from Georgetown University.

Sorabh Saxena

Chief Information Officer

Chief Information Officer Sorabh Saxena is responsible for developing the systems and technology to support Brightspeed’s end-to-end fiber optics network transformation, from the initial build to sales to ongoing operations. Sorabh brings nearly 30 years of technology experience to Brightspeed, most of it gained in the telecommunications industry.  

Sorabh joins Brightspeed from PwC, where he most recently served as principal, lead technology strategy & implementation, working with large organizations on their technology transformations. Prior to that, he served as chief digital & information technology officer for US Consumer Bank at Citi. Sorabh also spent more than 25 years of his career at AT&T in roles of increasing responsibility, primarily in IT. He left the organization in 2020 after serving as president/EVP global operations & services for AT&T Business.

Sorabh earned his Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. He earned his master’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
