How to obtain a credit for service interruption

You might be eligible for a credit on your payment if your phone or internet service was down for more than 24 hours.

First, you must report the outage of your service in order to receive credit for it. You can do this in two ways: call for repair or use Service Troubleshooter.

If you are eligible for a credit, it will appear on your account in the "Additional Charges and Credits" section. In that case, the credit will show up one to two months after the repair is finished.

If you don't see the credit after two bills, please contact us. Learn more about when you can expect to see your credit.

Phone Reported Outages

When you call us to report an outage, any credit due to you will be distributed automatically once the repair is complete.

Outage reported using Service Troubleshooter

If you report an outage using Service Troubleshooter, the credit will not be automatically generated. You will need to call us after the repair is completed to request your credit..

Check for outages and troubleshoot problems with your home phone or internet service.
