Consumer assistance programs

If you're on a limited income, you may qualify for assistance with your phone or internet bill with Lifeline or the Affordable Connectivity Program.

The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is a federal program that provides a monthly discount to qualifying households for internet service. If you qualify for Lifeline, you automatically qualify for ACP, but you'll still need to complete the Brightspeed application to get the discount on your internet account.

Visit our Affordable Connectivity Program page to learn more about qualifications and to how to apply.

Lifeline is a federal program that lowers the monthly cost of phone or qualifying internet service. You can only use Lifeline for either phone or internet service, but not both. Lifeline discounts are available to participants of both state and federally recognized aid programs.

As you learn more about these assistance programs and apply for them, you can also find out about setting up payment arrangements if you're having trouble making your next payment. We're here to help.
