Brightspeed broadband labels

The FCC mandates that all broadband internet providers show product information in a standardized format, similar to the nutrition labels found on food. These broadband labels make it easier for customers to compare pricing, speeds, fees, and other key factors between internet providers.

We design our internet plans to provide simplicity, value, and transparency for every Brightspeed customer. Got questions, or need help deciding which plan is right for you? Get in touch now, or shop affordable plans for internet in your area.

What’s on a broadband “nutrition label”?

  • Monthly Price: The monthly price you’ll pay for your plan, along with whether it’s an “introductory rate” (also called a teaser rate, or a rate that goes up after an introductory period). Brightspeed has no teaser rates, so you can lock in a monthly rate that fits your budget from the start.
  • Additional Charges: Any additional monthly fees, such as a modem rental fee, or one-time fees, such as an installation fee.
  • Discounts and Bundles: You may be able to save by bundling other services, such as landline phone service, with your internet service plan. If bundles or other discounts are available, you’ll see a link here that will show you available options.
  • Speeds: The typical download speed, upload speed, and latency available from this plan. Your speeds can vary based on many factors, including where you place your router and how many devices are connected simultaneously. Learn more about deciding how much speed you need.
  • Data Included: The amount of data you can use per month before incurring additional charges. Brightspeed has no data caps, so you’ll never need to worry about going over.
  • Policies: Find links to essential information like network management and privacy policies here.
