Brightspeed Total Home Tech Support is a new service offered by Brightspeed, brought to you in partnership with Asurion, that provides complete expert tech support for your home including setup, troubleshooting, and education on your in-home connected devices such as TVs, gaming systems, laptops, monitors, smart devices (watches, doorbells) and more.
Brightspeed Total Home Tech Support experts can help you with almost any in-home tech issue including (but not limited to) setting up your new device, troubleshooting and underperformance, home networking, connecting your devices to smart products, printers, routers, digital cameras, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth devices, transferring your data from one device to another, setting up email, installing software updates, backing up files, utilizing cloud storage, and more. They can also educate you on how to get better at using and optimizing your devices.
When you call the dedicated toll-free number (available daily between 7am – 11pm CT), you will reach an expert at our partner Asurion, the industry-leading expert for tech support. Asurion agents are friendly, very knowledgeable, and highly trained. Collectively they have resolved more than 20 million tech issues each year, across over 6000 makes and models.
You will receive an introductory email or letter from Asurion once your service becomes active. You can call an expert using the number provided anytime from 7am – 11pm CT seven days a week.

Brightspeed fiber customers who would like to add the service to their account can call to speak with an agent at 833-692-7773.
Our Brightspeed Repair agents are happy to help you troubleshoot issues related to your Wi-Fi and connectivity. For example, if you are experiencing a slow or unstable connection or can’t connect at all, feel free to call or chat with a repair agent. Brightspeed Total Home Tech Support experts can help you troubleshoot connectivity/Wi-Fi problems as well, but they are equipped to handle a much wider array of issues including device and application issues, set-up, and performance optimization.
Your Brightspeed technician will set up any Brightspeed equipment such as a router or extender, and they can help you set up one personal device (computer, mobile phone, or tablet) as part of their standard service. They are not equipped to set up multiple personal devices. Total Home Tech Support provides setup and ongoing troubleshooting support for any connected devices in your home.
Yes, you can cancel the service anytime by calling 833-692-7773. Your enrollment is month-to-month. There is no minimum contract term required with the purchase of this service.
The service will remain on your account as long as your account remains active and in good standing. If your account is suspended for non-payment or if vacation suspend is activated, the service will be removed from the account and will be deactivated. You will need to resubscribe once the account is active in order to reinstate it. We will reapply any discounts you had if you are still eligible when you resubscribe.
No. Brightspeed Total Home Tech Support does not provide device protection.
Brightspeed Total Home Tech Support is $10 per month and will appear on your monthly statement along with any applicable taxes.
